Nuremburg Trails
The Nuremberg Trials were 13 trials taking place from 1945-1949.
The Nuremberg Trials were made when Joseph Stalin proposed to Winston Churchill that they should execute 50,000 - 100,000 German staff officers for the Nazi war crimes. However, Churchill did not agree, and proposed that only high ranking Nazi officers should be executed without trial. Both Churchill and Stalin were halted by American leaders who made the accused have trials, both because they thought it to be more effective, and so there wouldn't be any controversy about killing innocent people without evidence.
