The Bismarck:
The Bismarck, was Germany’s famous battleship in
WWII, but due to its famous title it was sunk on May 27th 1941.
The Bismarck weighed over 50,000 tons and almost half of the was weight was from the Bismarck's armor. The armor gave the Bismarck many advantages in protection but it did not increases the speed of the Bismarck. The Bismarck was capable of 29 knots of speed.
Launched in 1939, the Bismarck carried a formidable array of weaponry – 8 x 15
inch guns, 12 x 5.9 inch guns, 16 x 4.1 inch AA guns, 16 x 20mm AA guns and 2 x
Armed 96 aircraft, and had a crew of 2,200.

The Yamato was named after the Japanese Yamato province , and was the lead ship of the Yamato class of battleships that served with the Japanese Navy during World War II. The Yamato was not the only ship to sail for Japan. the relatable ship, Musashi, was the heaviest and most powerfully armed battleships ever constructed, displaced. they both weighed 72,800 tons and full load and armed with nine 46 cm main guns. Neither the Yamato or the Musashi ship survived the war.

In 1922, Britain's navel forces included HSM Nelson which represented the most modern and powerful ship during the crown heading in World War II 1939 - 1945. The standard Nelson was limited to 35,000 tons of weight. the result to the lighter design, Nelson was equipped with 9 x 16 guns.
